"JAS x MONO" Opens Its Doors to Showcase the Historic "AVC Champions Trophy." "Song–Wipawee" Leads the Team in Boosting Support for Thailand's Women's Volleyball Squad on Their Road to the 2028 Olympics
The atmosphere was lively with the enthusiasm of volleyball fans at the "JAS x MONO FAN CONNECT: AVC CHAMPIONS TROPHY ROAD TO OLYMPIC 2028" event, organized by Jasmine International Public Company Limited (JAS), holder of the volleyball broadcasting rights, together with Monomax, under Mono Next Public Company Limited (MONO). The event welcomed volleyball fans to experience the "AVC Champions Trophy" up close, a champion trophy that marks a historic milestone for Thai women's volleyball, at Jasmine International Tower on Chaeng Watthana Road.
The "AVC Champions Trophy" stands as a symbol of the most significant achievement in Thai volleyball history, after the Thai women's spikers made history by winning the 2026 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship. Importantly, this championship title also earned the Thai national team direct qualification for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games, marking the first time in history that the Thai women's national volleyball team has qualified for the Olympics. This turned the long-awaited dream of Thai volleyball fans into reality and gave the trophy a meaning that goes beyond victory, representing pride, determination, and a new chapter in Thai sports history.
The event was honored by the presence of executives from JAS and MONO, led by Mr. Bannasit Rakwong, Chief Operating Officer of Mono Next Public Company Limited; Ms. Netpanit Potharakul, Chief Content Officer of Mono Next Public Company Limited; Ms. Hathaithip Madjui, Business Director of Monomax, Mono Streaming Company Limited; and Ms. Pattamanan Phanprasert, Director of the Data and Business Analysis Division at Jasmine International Public Company Limited. Also joining was "Song–Wipawee Srithong," a player on the Thai women's national volleyball team, who shared stories and experiences from her journey as a national athlete, including the motivation behind her success and her experience competing at the international level, before sending encouragement and inviting Thai volleyball fans to join in supporting the Thai women's spikers on their journey to the 2028 OLYMPICS.
Another key highlight was bringing the actual "AVC Champions Trophy" for volleyball fans to experience up close, allowing them to capture a proud moment and become part of this significant memory. In addition, the event was honored by the presence of young athletes from Thailand's U17 and U18 national youth volleyball teams, along with Ms. Parawee Hoisang, team manager of the Nonthaburi Volleyball Club, and Acting Sub Lieutenant Thanakrit Inliang, head coach of the Thai national youth volleyball team and a coach at Nonthaburi Witthaya 6 Sports School, an institution that has continuously produced youth volleyball athletes for the Thai national team across every age group. They took part in the event alongside their senior national teammates to serve as an inspiration for the next generation of athletes. The "JAS x MONO FAN CONNECT: AVC CHAMPIONS TROPHY ROAD TO OLYMPIC 2028" event was therefore not only an opportunity for sports fans to get close to the trophy of success and the national athletes but also a way of using the "Historic Trophy" to connect athletes, fans, and the younger generation through a story of victory, effort, inspiration, and the collective support of the Thai people.
