JAS engages FIO in reforestation talks toward net zero

Driven by its commitment to transform land into thriving forest, JAS has successfully completed Phase 1 of its reforestation project for carbon credits, covering 74 rai in Khao Khlung Subdistrict, Ban Pong District, Ratchaburi Province. The Company is now moving forward with plans to expand into Phases 2 and 3, reflecting its strong dedication to achieving net zero goals and supporting the transition toward a sustainable low-carbon economy. On this occasion, Ms. Nawarat Poolmak, Assistant Vice President of Corporate Sustainability and Administration at Jasmine International Public Company Limited (JAS), participated in discussions on potential collaboration to further develop reforestation projects for carbon credits. The initiative aims to enhance greenhouse gas absorption capacity while strengthening sustainable business operations, in partnership with the Forest Industry Organization (FIO). During the visit, JAS also extended its congratulations to
Mr. Pissanu Phoowadol on his appointment as Director of the Carbon Business and Innovation Bureau at the Forest Industry Organization. The meeting was joined by Dr. Narongchai Chonlapap, Head of Carbon Business, and Mr. Niruj Khamkuan, Carbon Credit Section Manager, FIO.
