JAS–Monomax hosts Thailand’s first beachside football watch party in Pattaya, featuring Liverpool legend Steve McManaman
Ending the year with world-class excitement, Jasmine International Public Company Limited (JAS), the exclusive official rights holder of the English Premier League and Emirates FA Cup in Thailand, together with Monomax, the main broadcasting platform for six consecutive seasons, transformed Pattaya Beach into a spectacular football-watching destination. The “Monomax: Watch Party on the Beach” took place on Saturday, 27 December, marking the first-ever beachside football watch party of its kind in Thailand. The event brought together sports, entertainment, and a seaside atmosphere in one unforgettable experience. Football fans and tourists flocked to the venue from afternoon until evening, enjoying live activities and competing for exclusive prizes, adding vibrant energy and a fresh dimension to Pattaya’s year-end celebrations.
The event was attended by senior executives from JAS Group and MONO Group, led by Mr. Sang Do Lee, Director of Jasmine International Public Company Limited, Ms. Vorraphan Chunpen, Chief Financial Officer, Ms. Pitirudee Sirisamphan, Senior Vice President of Compliance and Regulatory, Miss Pattamanun Puntprasert, President, Ms. Hathaitip Madjui, Director of Online Movie Business at Monomax under Mono Streaming, and Mr. Bannasit Rakwong, Chief Operating Officer of Mono Next Public Company Limited.
Adding excitement to the event were youth football teams Monthongwittaya and Muang Pattaya 7, who joined fans in interactive activities. The atmosphere was further energized by hosts from Max Sport: Fan Zone, including Kohtee Aramboy, Sena Hoi - Kiattisak Udomnak, Candid Kibt, and New - Chaiyapol, along with a live concert by popular artist D Gerrard, creating a festive environment for fans of all ages along Pattaya Beach.
The highlight of the evening was the appearance of global football icon Steve McManaman, former Liverpool winger and football legend. McManaman took part in special game activities, with proceeds donated to the Pattaya City Hospital Foundation. Fans were treated to a breathtaking 12-minute drone light show over Pattaya Beach spelling out “Welcome Steve McManaman,” drawing awe and excitement from spectators along the coastline. McManaman also joined fans to discuss and analyze the game while watching the live broadcast of the highly anticipated Premier League clash between Liverpool and Wolverhampton Wanderers, shown on Thailand’s largest beachside giant screen for the first time ever. The excitement peaked with live commentary from beloved commentators Borbou - Bouranij Rattanavichien and Jackie – Adisorn Piungya, as roaring cheers from Liverpool and Wolves supporters echoed across the beach.
