“JAS-PA-JAS TV” turn old calendars into braille books for the blind
Jasmine International Public Company Limited (JAS), together with Premium Asset Company Limited (PA) and JAS TV Company Limited (JAS TV), donated second-hand desk calendars to produce educational materials for the visually impaired. On this occasion, Ms. Nawarat Poolmak, Assistant Vice President of Sustainability and Administration Department at JAS, along with employees, presented the calendars and a 5,000-baht donation to the Educational Technology for the Blind Center, Foundation for the Blind in Thailand under the Royal Patronage of H.M. the Queen. The materials will later be used to create Braille books. This initiative not only adds values to discarded items but also creates learning opportunities for the visually impaired, which is a crucial step in driving Thai society towards sustainable equality.
