'JAS GROUP' donates plastic bottles to recycle into monk robes

Jasmine International Public Company Limited (JAS) and its subsidiaries organized a campaign to donate over 11,000 plastic bottles and aluminum cans to Wat Chak Daeng to recycle into monk robes. The pieces including 10,775 plastic bottles and 730 aluminum cans were collected from the 2nd 'Trash for Egg' on August 9, to promote waste sorting and recycling. On this occasion, Ms. Piangporn Suntrawat, Assistant Director of Premium Asset Company Limited, represented the company in delivering recyclable waste for processing.

This donation project raises awareness of the environmental issues caused by plastic waste, especially PET which requires a long decomposition time, as well as applying the principles of circular economy to waste management for the most efficient use of resources.
