ARS - ACeS Satellite Phone System Service Provider Celebrates the First Anniversary, Offering Special Promotion Package at Most Competitive Price to Customers
ACeS Regional Services Co., Ltd. or ARS , the national service provider of Asia Cellular Satellite System (ACeS), recently held a press conference to announce the Company's first anniversary of its successfully commercial service. To celebrate the occasion, ARS sets up various marketing & sales promotion program for the customers, and incentive sales staff program to boost up sales target. Based on its leadership as the sole satellite phone system service provider, continuous products development, and the most competitive phone set price & air-time rate, ARS is assured of its strong position of its unique product and excellent service to offer to target customers .
Mr. Julapong Limpasuthum, General Manager of ACeS Regional Services Co., Ltd., revealed that the Company has provided ACeS system service for over one year and received a satisfying success. ARS first successfully launched the post-paid service branded "ACeS Ready Service", followed with pre-paid billing card featuring no registration fees, no deposit money, and no monthly service fees. The lastest service launched into the market branded "ACeS Contax" , a fixed satellite phone targeted at the users in remote areas where no other terrestrial telecommunication service available. ACeS Contax's advantages are easy installation, easy to use, clear voice, secured against eavesdropping with low air-time rate. Moreover, ARS has launched various marketing campaigns to expand its market to cover nationwide and neighbouring countries. At present, ARS has 1,600 subscribers for post-paid service and expects the increase up to 3,000 subscribers by the end of year 2002. For pre-paid service, there are 1,400 subscribers and targets to increase up to 4,500 subscribers within year 2002. For the fixed satellite phone - ACeS Contax, ARS currently has 500 subscribers.
In the occasion of the first anniversary of service launch, ARS has launched a special campaigns for both clients and sales staff which are ;
Member Gets Member Program. Users of ACeS who introduces a new client will receive a free call of 1,000 baht with no limited number of recommended new clients.
ACeS Family. The incentive sales programe for sales distributor's staff offering extra benefit aimed to boost sales volume.
ACeS Ready Service - post-paid mobile satellite service. Free call of 6,000 baht or calling and receiving callls anywhere in Thailand at 13 baht / minute for 13 months.
Pre-paid mobile satellite service. Free call of 12,000 baht.
ACeS Contax - fixed satellite service phone. Free call of 20,000 baht
Presently, the price of the handsets are as follows; Ericsson R190 for ACeS post-paid is at 44,900 baht. Ericsson R 190 for ACeS Ready Service (Pre-paid) is 39,900 baht. The fixed satellite phone - ACeS Contax is at 39,900 baht. Those prices are included VAT. The calling rates are as the follows; outing call within Thailand rate ( calling from 24 countries all over Asia) - ACeS post-paid mobile phone is 18/minute including VAT, ACeS Ready Service pre-paid) at 20 bath/minute and for ACeS Contax is 12 baht / minute. The receiving call rates - ACeS post-paid mobile phone is at 13 baht/ minute including VAT, ACeS Ready Service (pre-paid) is at 12 baht/minute and ACeS Contax is at 9 baht / minute.
