Jasmine Internet cooperates with EGV theaters launching a campaign "Ji-NET MOVIE CARD" offering a valuable benefit to movie lovers and Internet users.
Jasmine Internet Co., Ltd. (Ji-NET), a leading Internet service provider (ISP), cooperates with Entertainment Golden Village Co., Ltd., an owner of EGV theaters, launching a new promotion to give a valuable benefit to Ji-NET users through the campaign "Ji-NET Movie Card", the card that can be applied for both Internet usage and movie ticket discount.
Mr. Somsak Padhana-anek, president of Jasmine Internet Co., Ltd., said that "at present, Internet business is expanding dramatically and continuously due to the increasing users especially youths and teenagers who are also the target group of movie business so we considered that there should be a distinctive product or service which is profitable for both business lines. Therefore, Ji-NET decided to cooperate with EGV, the movie business giant, launching a campaign "Ji-NET Movie Card". The cards, which are stylish well-designed in 4 types for limited amount, are not only used as Internet cards but also discount coupons for movie tickets”.
Ms. Siriwan Tejalap-amnuay, sales and marketing manager, Jasmine Internet Co., Ltd., added that "Ji-NET Movie Card" gives Ji-NET's customers lots of benefits apart from being used as 20-baht discounts for each EGV movie ticket, up to 30 tickets. The price is only 399 baht, allowing 30 hours Internet usage, which means that clients buy Internet service with 1 free EGV movie ticket”.
The campaign "Ji-NET Movie Card" is offered between 15 June- 15 August 2000 and is advertised through various kinds of media i.e. computer magazines, movie & entertainment magazines, newspapers, recognized Internet websites and radio in order to expose to teenagers group.
"Ji-NET Movie Card" is available at all Jasmine Internet agents i.e. Jasmine Smart Shops, Panthip Plaza, IT Mall, Chula Book Center, Se-Ed book center, Power By shops in Central and Robinson Department Stores located in Bangkok and nearby provinces. Besides, Ji-NET is looking for the new distribution channels through university shops as well
