Exclusive Internet offer from Ji-NET for Bangkok Bank cardholders
Jasmine Internet Co., Ltd. (Ji-NET) has joined together with Bangkok Bank (BBL) to offer a half price deal and free gifts to people who sign on for Internet services using BBL credit and debit cards. The campaign is called 'Ji NET BBL Connect'.
Jasmine Internet, an Internet Service Provider (ISP) which operates under the name of Ji-NET is offering the special privileges to every Bangkok Bank electronic cardholder, including holders of Bangkok Bank credit cards, Bangkok Bank-Visa, Bangkok Bank-MasterCard, Bualuang Premier cards, ATM cards, and Be 1st cards.
Bangkok Bank is the leading financial institution in Thailand and Ji-NET ranks among the top five ISPs in the country.
Somsak Padhana-anek, President of Jasmine Internet, said Jasmine chose Bangkok Bank as its partner in the promotion because of its leadership in the industry. BBL's large customer base includes five million holders of Bualuang Premier and Bualuang ATM cards, 300,000 holders of debit cards, and 300,000 holders of credit cards.
"These are good potential customers because they are our target group - high users of Internet services."
The special promotion means that for an annual fee of Baht 3,990 BBL customers who pay with either credit card or debit card will receive access to Internet airtime costing as little as Baht 6.65 an hour. Card holders who sign up for the deal will receive one additional year of free usage.
Applicants will also receive a Baht 5,000 gift (one prestige digital OV Watch or free Internet Magazine membership), a special subscription offer to Reader's Digest and a discount on the purchase of a Belta Pentium III 733 computer.
The fee can be paid in four monthly instalments of Baht 999.
The promotion starts on Monday 18 September and will continue until 31 October.
Bangkok Bank Executive Vice President Krip Rojanastien said it is an outstanding opportunity, which is exclusive to BBL card holders.
"Credit and debit cards are not only a convenience and a source of financial freedom for our customers - but they are also the gateway to special privileges and great deals."
Mr Krip said that BBL recognises the importance of the Internet to its customers. "Internet use is growing steadily and will eventually become an important part of our lives in Thailand."
He said Jasmine Internet is a young dynamic company, which provides fast and efficient service to its on-line customers.
Jasmine Internet is the subsidiary of Jasmine International Group. The company benefits from the experience of its parent company and affiliates which operate the 1.5 million telephone line network of Thai Telephone & Telecommunication (TT&T), the VSAT satellite network of Acumen, and the high-speed data transmission facilities of Smart Highway.
Mr Krip said that Bangkok Bank has other special offers for cardholders in the pipeline.
This is the first collaboration between Jasmine and BBL. Mr Krip and Mr Somsak said they hope to extend the partnership between the two companies in the future
