Jasmine Internet (Ji NET) expected 100 % growth in 2001, focus market on corporates by offering diverse & quality products & services

Jasmine Internet Co., Ltd., a leading Internet Service Provider (ISP) under the brandname "Ji NET" holds a press conference to announce its business direction and strategies in the year 2001. After one year operation, Ji NET achieves positive welcome and ranks top position in the Internet access providing market. Predicting fiercier competition this year, the Company readjusts its business strategies aimed to reach 100% growth rate goal by expanding into one stop full products & services to serve diversified customers.

Mr. Somsak Padhana-anek, President of Jasmine Internet revealed that Ji NET joins hands with a leading international software firm named KnowledgeWindow based in New Jersey, USA, as strategic partner to market "Jasmine eLearning" which is Web-based Training Solutions. Jasmine eLearning is Internet-based, virtual learning systems for corporations and institutions. With a continuing increase in Internet usage and increasing need for effective and convenient workforce education tools via virtual learning over the Internet/World Wide Web or called distance learning, Jasmine eLearning provides fully interactive online training application solutions.

Jasmine eLearning are highly cost-effective, adaptive and customized to meet diverse corporate needs. ELearning supports multiple languages using audio, visual, graphics and text combine. Various mutimedia and interactive courses ranks from coaching & leadership, financial management to computer application. Jasmine eLearning gives multinational companies and content providers a highly efficient means to publish training, educational and certification course work over the Internet/Intranet. Target customers are business, government and education agencies.

In 2001 Jasmine Internet focuses its marketing goals at large corporations by providing high quality diverse value added services. Before and after sales services, problem solving for clients are highly emphasized. The Company cooperates with various business parters to provide clients total solutions packages including hardware, software, maintenance support systems. Seminars, training and educating programs are this year main marketing activities continuously set for corporate clients enhancing comprehension and confidence in Ji NET's efficiency.

Ji NET marketing strategies in 2001 will cooperate with business and strategic partners in various sectors to offer privileges and distinctive products for affiliated clients. Last year Ji NET co-marketed with Bangkok Bank PCL (BBL) offering half-prized Internet access for BBL carder holders. Ji NET and BBL continues cooperative marketing programs set to launch special products within the first quarter of the year. Payment gateway and related e-commerce projects are currently underdeveloped by both partners. In addition Ji NET marketing cooperates with Thai Telephone & Telecommunications PCL (TT&T), the provincial 1.5 million fixed lines telephone operators, appointed as Ji NET's exclusive distributor. Based on TT&T existing clients, Ji NET will focus markets at large corporations, educational institutions and universities located in the regions.

Ji NET prepares to launch Customer Care & Billing which is the efficient client database management systems enhancing performance, productivitiy and profitability in January. Moreover, the Company invests 5 million baht to develop Call Center, 24 hours customer services consultation for efficiency, expected to be fully operated within 2001 yearend.
