Jakfree.com teams up with 200 internet cafe around Bangkok to shake online game fever
Jakfree.com, the leading game show website in Thailand and an alternative advertising online channel, has teamed up with 200 internet caf?s around Bangkok to launch Internet Caf? Jakfree Club and project to achieve 1,000 caf?s within this year.
Under this campaign, which is introduced to expand its marketing channels and its target group, Jakfree.com will be promoted via 200 internet caf?s around Bangkok, including 35 outlets in Ramkamhang and Sukaphiban, 26 outlets in Ratchada and Lad Prao, 51 outlets in Paholyothin and around Kasetsart University, 18 outlets in the area of Prachachuen, 17 outlets in Din Dang and Huay Kwang, 24 outlets in Rama 4, and 29 outlets across Thonburi.
Navamin Prasopnet, Director of Marketing of J.S. Interllinet, operator of Jakfree.com website, said: "Nowadays, internet caf?s are very popular among internet users in Thailand, especially teenagers who are the major target group of Jakfree.com. With a good support from Total Access Communication Plc. and other sponsors, we strongly believe that this campaign will effectively expand our marketing channel and target groups. This campaign will allow our website to hold its position as a viable alternative advertising online channel."
Internet caf? members will be committed to set Jakfree.com as the first page on their internet browsers and announce its promotions in their outlets. They will receive privileges from the company including a Ji-net internet package at a special discount.
Moreover, the company will record every time customers of an internet caf? plays a game on Jakfree.com. The internet caf? with the highest points at the end of each month will receive a reward from Jakfree.com.
"We aim to gain membership of 1,000 internet caf?s by the end of this year and plan to create exclusive games and special events for players who are customers of our internet caf? members in the near future," said Mr Navamin.
Jakfree.com was launched in July 2000 and is already Thailand's leading game show on the internet with about 200,000 members.
