Jasmine Outlines Restructuring Plan for its $303m Debt
Jasmine International ( Jasmin ) has signed a 303 million-dollar debt restructuring agreement with its 43 creditors. The company disclosed that the repayment plan relates to us$192 million of debt owed by Jasmine and its subsidiaries, while the remainder will be repaid solely by its subsidiaries. According to the agreement, Jasmine will pay $192 million in 14 installments. The first sum will total $ 2 million , and thereafter the amount will gradually increase with the last payment due in December 2006. Jasmine said the agreement will enable the company to attain adequate cashflow and meet its debt service obligation in the future, as well as helping it maintain its leading position in the telecom industry
