A limited liability company organized under the laws of Thailand was established in 1991 and is 100% share held by Jasmine International Public Company Limited. In October 1991, JSTC was awarded a 20-year build-transfer-operate (BTO) concession pursuant to an Agreement for Joint Investment in Submarine Optical Fiber Cable Network from TOT Public Co., Ltd. to design, construct, operate and maintain a submarine optical fiber cable network in the Gulf of Thailand (The East Coast Project).

      The East Coast Project runs along the east coast of Thailand and establishes a long-haul digital transmission system linking the long distance communication network between Chonburi (near the national capital city of Bangkok), the Eastern Seaboard area and ten southern provinces of Thailand

   
     
   
    Thai Long Distance Telecommunication Co.,Ltd. (TLDT)  
       
          In 1996, JSTC was awarded a second concession by TOT as a supplement to the East Coast Project Concession Agreement. Thai Long Distance Telecommunications Co.,Ltd. (TLDT), owned 90% by JSTC and 10% by TOT, was established to build-transfer-operate a submarine optical fiber cable network along the west coast of Thailand. (The West coast Project)  
          The West Coast Project starts from Ranong, Thailand and runs primarily along the west coastline of Thailand and includes a land-bridge to connect each end of the West Coast Project to the East Coast Project as well as two additional Links to connect the project to Malaysia submarine optical fiber cable network, which belongs to TIMEdotCom Berhad of Malaysia, which provides for significant routing, as well as international access.  
       
   
 
OTHER BUSINESSES AND SERVICES
  •  MARINE OPERATION SERVICE
           JSTC operates its own tug and barge for the network maintenance activities. Besides, the company has a high proficient marine operation team that can efficiently provide the following services:
    •     - Submarine Cable (Fiber Optic / Power) installation
    - Work barge or working platform for marine operation
    - Tug boat for shore-end and off-shore operation activities
    - Very high-expertise diver team with, high-technology, equipment support
         
  •  LAND/SUBMARINE FIBER OPTIC CABLE JOINTING TEAM AND EQUIPMENT
    •           In addition, the company’s Land/Submarine fiber optic cable jointing team with international standard training and more than ten-year-experiences including the state of the art jointing equipment are also available for prompt, efficient services.
         
  • THE VALUE-ADDED SERVICES : HIGH-SPEED DIGITAL LEASED LINE
    		•
              On March 2004, JSTC is legally allowed to initiate value-added services to the submarine optical fiber cable network from TOT PLC. by utilizing the unemployed network circuits to provide high-speed digital Leased Line Service. Whereas TOT and JSTC shall mutually be responsible for the customer base, JSTC shall take care of the equipment procurement, installation and maintenance, while TOT shall be the signatory in the leased line service agreement and the retainer for installation fees as well as other services rendered.
        JSTC high-speed digital Leased Line Service is a highly reliable service that offers bandwidth, high-speed transmission, full resiliency point-to-point communication linking between Bangkok and Southern provinces.
